Lake City arsenal has extended contracts to Winchester to load their Mil-Spec quality of ammunition using the Mil-Spec components. Previously, Federal was the exclusive loader of Lake City ammunition, now you can purchase the exact same ammunition loaded by Winchester. Lake City contracts to build Mil-Spec ammunition is sharing with Federal, Winchester, and Hornady. Same Mil-Spec quality ammunition loaded by a brand name you trust and priced very competitively.

Loaded for the commercial version, .223 Rem rifles, each round contains components from the Lake City arsenal which meet Military Specifications. The loads are lighter to accommodate the .223 Remington rifles.
